Today we discussed Psalm 27:4
"One thing I ask of the LORD, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple."

Things to know:
~House painting project - We decided that we would still like to help with this project even though it will not be funded by "Paint Mitchell." We will still shoot for the June 23rd weekend and will pass along more details as we know them.
~Men's retreat May 4-6 - Please try to sign up by next Sunday if you plan to attend so that plans can be made for food and travel. Contact Blake Waddell.
~Camping weekend July 27-29 - Amy Storm will make reservations this week, so contact her soon if you would like a spot.

Today: we watched a video from and discussed one of the sessions of a Marriage study called "I Love You More" by Les and Leslie Parrott.
This session talked about how your attitudes affect your relationships. There was an activity at the end that allowed you to consider how positive or negative your thinking is.

~Casting Crowns Concert - Friday Apr 20 at 7 pm Reservation at Braccos in Sioux Falls at 4:30 for anyone who would like to eat together before the concert.

~Paint Mitchell project - We were unable to get the painting project funded through the Paint Mitchell event, we will discuss next week how we may still be able to help get this project done

The Criminal on the Cross - This week we discussed another encounter with Jesus that helped prepare our hearts to enter Holy Week. We read Luke 23:32-43 and talked about how Jesus responded to the criminal being crucified beside him.
Prayer Requests:
* Mission Team in Costa Rica (returned Monday night)
* Praise for Belize Mission Trip
* Walz's - travel to visit Aaron next weekend
Aaron - pray for safety for him and the choices he's making
* Zilla's, Morgan's, and Sedlmeier's
* Family of Amy and Fredel as they deal with the loss of their Uncle Pat
