March 11th, 2012

A famine turns into a blessing... A son who was dead is now alive... Our God is an awesome God! Luke 15:11-32

This week...
We discussed the parable of the lost son in Luke 15:11-32.

Casey even gave out some homework. Study Isaiah 57:14-21 alongside the parable of the lost son. What parallels do you see in these verses?

Next week...
I guess I'm not sure? But come, it is bound to be eye-opening and inspirational! Perhaps there will be donuts involved. :)

Prayer Requests...
~ Pastor Mike - his transition in life and in ministry
~ Elissa's brother Aaron and the whole family as he transitions this week to a new facility
~ Melissa as she nears the end of her pregnancy
~ Blake and Tevin travelling home today

Things to know...
~ Camping trip the last weekend in July. Be thinking about whether or not you would like to go. Location has not yet been determined. More information coming in the next few weeks. Contact Amy Storm for more details.
~ Sunday, March 25th - there is a Sunday school teacher meeting for the first 10 minutes of our normal meeting time. Pastor Ben would ask that anyone available to spend 10 minutes in with the babies, 2-3 yr olds, and the kindergarten class rooms would be greatly appreciated.

Have a great week!
